WHAT IF YOU COULD RECOVER MORE QUICKLY?
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about how to get results – with the least amount of effort. This has been especially true when it comes to overcoming injuries, feeling powerful and feeling empowered.
I started my career working as a trainer for injured clients in my twenties, tore my ACL skiing, had reconstructive surgery, re-tore it 2 months later while slipping on a wet floor at work, decided to bypass a second surgery and to get really strong instead, then departed for grad school.
I began my physical therapy career at thirty, working in a last-stop-shop for complicated neck and back patients, while also working in a busy sports medicine clinic treating athletes of all ages.
Several years later, I opened my own business with a desire to provide a different level of service than was available through typical physical therapy and the insurance limited models. One where I could take the time needed to properly assess and treat my clients as whole individuals and until they were better. No cookie cutter treatments.
Now I’ve refined and distilled what I’ve learned to create a comprehensive treatment system. Head to toe assessments. Advanced bodywork from both massage and physical therapy schools. Movement assessments, advanced rehab training from acute to competitive sports play. As well as how to develop a winning mindset & habits even in the midst of tough injuries.
As an athlete, I’ve had many injuries and surgeries and been a patient more times than I care to admit. I’ve fractured bones, torn ligaments, strained muscles and tendons, herniated discs and pinched nerves. Each time I learned a little more about how to rehabilitate better, minimize fitness losses, and keep my sanity. I understand the frustration of being in pain and incapacitated as well as the joy of living fit and strong.
Four decades later, I’ve learned how best help others find more power and less pain. I’d be honored to have the opportunity to help you too.
Because much of my work has been outside of the conventional PT/insurance model, I have chosen to focus on thoroughness and caring, doing the right things at the right time, addressing mindset, setting goals and holding clients accountable. I have helped thousands of people return to their sports while sharing some laughs and making a few friends along the way.
It’s my passion to help you achieve high levels of performance without being stopped by your injuries or ageing.

FUN FACTS ABOUT CAROLINE
My athletic career has led me on amazing adventures.
I’ve dodged grizzlies on a 1500 mile mountain bike-packing trip on the continental divide and biked ledgy trails with 1000-foot death defying drops in the Italian Dolomites. I’ve kayaked away from the Vietnamese mafia in Halong Bay, Vietnam, paraglided off cliffs in Chamonix, and scuba dived in the deep underwater canyons of the Honduras.
I’ve raced mountain bikes, crawled through dark, muddy underground canyons in New Zealand alongside wetas (palm-sized grasshoppers), and spent a year exploring the US while living in 32’ trailer.
As a young athlete, I was enthusiastic and perhaps a little clumsy.
I fell… a lot. During judo, running trails, skiing, snowboarding, biking, waterskiing, kiteboarding, rock-climbing and most seriously- walking. I was a terrible patient in my twenties! Now that I am older I know better.
I am passionate about… learning, human performance & motivation, listening to podcasts and books on tape and finding peoples’ brilliance. I love steep climbs followed by steep descents and being a little scared every now and then. Add good food, good bodywork, grunge rock, a spotted long eared dog and a less spotted red haired man in this beautiful place we call home, some great friends and you’ll have the picture of me.
